VW unveils T-Roc Cabriolet
Volkswagen has revealed the new T-Roc Cabriolet ahead of its launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The first convertible crossover model to be available in its class, the T-Roc Cabriolet looks to build on the success of the conventional fixed-roof model.
Following in the footsteps of the Beetle and Golf, the drop-top T-Roc gives customers the popular crossover traits – but with open-air motoring.
The cloth roof can be opened in just nine seconds, at speeds of up to 18mph. Engine available at launch will be a choice of two petrol units; a 1.0 TSI with 115hp, or 1.5 TSI with 150hp.
Pricing and specifications will be announced closer to the model’s on-sale date, expected to be in spring 2020.
